Firestar is actually one of my favourite marvel heroes ever, her powers, her look and everything i just love. Realy proves that limitations breeds creativity. Im also realy glad what they did with her in the comics too 😊 Amazing vid too
@@AquaFan1998 Thanks for the kind words pal 😉 I've been a fan of Firestar ever since she first appeared in Spiderman and his Amazing Friends. As I mentioned before, I was thrilled with her inclusion on the 1990s comic book The New Warriors.
There was also "Crusher Hogan" the wrestler spiderman faught before the prize money was robbed and uncle ben was shot by the robber. Hes a good guy and later when peter came across him again he owned a gym and spiderman helped to attack some thugs trying to extort protection money from hogan.

Funny thing about this episode its an adaptation of the first green goblin story in the comics. Which is weird because as this episode proves the story is alot more fitting Mysterio then green goblin. Even the deadpool and spiderman comic series pointed out how weirdly out of character it is for green goblin to do this type of plot. So im glad they had the movie making plot based around the movie making villain rather then green goblin like it originally was.

Something i noticed about this show is that they have an episode each where the heroes are turned evil. This one with firestar under Dracula's control The second with mind controlled iceman and captain america. Then the third with the evil spiderman who later turned into a full man spider. Idk if it was intentional on the studios part but kinda funny
@@AquaFan1998 Each Spider-Friend also gets an origin episode. I don't know if them respectively turning evil was intentional but I bet the origin episodes were. Thanks again for the channel support AquaFan. If you're enjoying it, I must be on the right path. 🙂

@@AquaFan1998 I'm glad you're enjoying my Spider-Friends videos. I have a bunch of videos I'm currently working on that are my priority right now. But I haven't done a Spidey commentary in a while and I had fun doing them, so I'll try my best to work it in. It won't be right away though. I have other videos planned up til December. Like I said, I will try to work in it. Because I really appreciate you're interest in my content.

I wouldn't say Cap was depicted as a lackey. He was trying to track down those responsible for attacking Genosha, but was quite correct in saying he can't just operate in other countries in that costume without serious repercussions. There's a big difference between considering such repercussions and being a government yes-man. Maybe if Rogue had been in more of a talking mood they could've hit on a compromise and Steve could've gone along in his civilian identity or something, but Rogue was understandably upset at the time.
@@dupersuper1938 Thanks for sharing your perspective but I don't need you to explain to me why the writers of the episode had Cap do nothing. I get it but I don't agree with it. From my perspective, from many of the Captain America stories I enjoy, he wouldn't react the way he did in this episode. As I stated in my review, different writers write characters in different ways. Because they have their own unique perspectives.

@@prashantmaharaj8482 Hollywood reboots of properties that were already popular don't usually do well. The early 2000s Miami Vice movie with Jamie Fox and Colin Feral is proof of that. The whole season felt rushed, and stories from the original series took its time to flesh out stories and characters. This series takes big storylines from the comics and blows through it in 1 episode.Some characters have been changed to fit current day BS,the thing with Rogue and Magento being in a relationship prior to the OG series makes no sense,Morph has also been changed in appearance and look to once again, fit current day politics,while their are some good action scenes but for 95% of the show it lacks the look,and soul of the orginal series but this is nothing new these days,take an established beloved IP and infused it with the show runners politics and lifestyle because that's what famous IP's are here for,as a platform not for entertainment.
@@kal0247 I agree that some storylines adapted from the comics were rushed but I enjoyed the series regardless. The "current day bs" didn't bother me because it was not as overeat as most content these days. @MADABOUTSUPERHEROES would have been 100% better with the current day nonsense, I've seen your videos on Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes and Spectacular Spider-Man, look at how those shows were written with love and respect for the source material and fans now look at X-Men 97,night and day.

Firestar was the first character to be created for the cartoons but then introduced in the comics IIRC

Great commentary man, I never missed a episode as a teen. I was always hoping to get a Silverhawks/Thundercats crossover, but it never happened. My favorite Thundercats episodes was the Safari Joe episode...lol. And the Garden Of Delights episode both were great, among many. The Pummra episode was good, maybe a Thundercats live action movie isn't meant to be. Now a Silverhawks live action movie seems more logical, having the whole sci- fi element in the film. But unfortunately Silverhawks is not as popular as Thundercats, so a film might not happen.
